Project Description: K9AS installed the QT PPD Hardware and cabling according to drawings provided by Advanced Alarms.
Project Description: Sprinkler System 5 Year Inspection: Conducted 5 Year Sprinkler internal investigation and Pipe obstruction check for all building systems. Alarm valve internal mechanisms were inspected, cleaned and lubed, and returned to service. A main and a branch line for each system was opened and checked internally for debris or corrosion. Systems were returned to service. The FDC hydrostatic test was included with this test. UL Testing of Dry Drop and Attic Heads: AFPS pulled and replaced (4) 12" dry drop sprinkler heads for UL Testing, along with (4) attic sprinkler heads for UL Testing. All (8) heads were sent to Underwriters Laboratories for testing. If all heads pass, no further special testing was needed for 5 years. If any failed, all like heads were quoted for replacement. Technician arrived onsite to troubleshoot an alarm going off. Technician checked the Panel and it was showing the West Hall NAC Panel Supervisory. Technician reset the system and it cleared the trouble alert. Technician double checked the NAC Panel and it was all normal. System was all normal and working properly upon completion.
Site called requesting technician to replace Heat Detector H355 in Kitchen above sink. Site also had alarm go off night of 5/13. Panel read Comm. Fault. Technician replaced the heat detector with the H355 that was provided and cleared that fault. Cleared the Com fault by re-enabling the annunciator termination at the main panel. Technician found that the fire alarm went off due to one of the hardwired smoke detector in a resident's room was tripped advised site contact that they are nearing the period of replacing them which is 4/5 years. He said he can replace them himself.
Technician replaced 3 batteries and plugged up the smoke detector back up the stairs. The garage smoke detector was the culprit as it was in alarm even after site contact reset, so he took it down and keep it unplugged isolated from the rest of the detectors. Technician notified the site contact the best solution is to replace the detector as there getting close to their recommended replacement timeline.
Technician installed two relays and replaced one sounder. Called service center to test after and everything is working properly. No parts were needed at this store.
